Check out all of our inmates on the link above, choose what inmates you want to support, and donate to their page.  All donations are tax deductible and help support services for children in Lee and Ogle Counties affected by child abuse and trauma. 

They need to raise their bail by April 30 to avoid handcuffs on May 1!!  

 Join Shining Star CAC in wearing BLUE on April 4, 2025 in recognition of child abuse awareness and prevention.  

Share with others why you are wearing BLUE.  Share information of 1 in 10 children experience abuse and neglect.  1:4 girls and 1:6 boys experiences sexual abuse.  

Send us your picture wearing BLUE to be featured on our Facebook page, or tag us in your post!!

The pinwheel is a sign of happy, healthy childhoods that each and every child deserves.  

Join us on April 25, 2025 for our 3rd Annual Hands Around the Courthouse Child Abuse Awareness Event.  This even is held on the lawn of the Old Lee County Courthouse starting at 12pm concluding by 12:30pm.
